Volunteers Needed
Hi South Dundas Community Volunteers! Interested in helping out at the lates playground fundraisers?
We are looking for volunteers for the following...
Bouncy Bounce - Tribecka Inflatables September 10th, 2011
This event is being held at the Morrisburg Canadian Tire on September 10th from 10 am to 3 pm. We need approximately 10-12 volunteers to help set up and supervise the inflatables.
Fun Run - September 11, 2011
We are looking for approximately 25 to 30 volunteers to help out on the day of the Fun Run. We will need volunteers at the starting line/finish line, registration, course & traffic points, for set up and tear down.

Run For Fun - Sunday September 11th, 2011
Ready to Run for Fun? Tie up those running shoes and download your registration form HERE to participate in the September September 11th Run/Walk. All proceeds to benefit the Playground Fund!
Participants registered prior to September 9th will have their name entered for some great prizes!
Completed registration forms can be dropped of at SDS Beavers Dental Morrisburg, 55 Laurier Drive (8:30 am - 4:00 pm).

Tubie Team Gives Back

Playground Design Revealed
We are extremely excited to provide the most recent designs for the playground. There is a senior area for bigger kids and a junior area that will incorporate the existing structure for the smaller kids. We are currently working with Wendy Graham, a landscape architect, to work the new play structure in with existing park elements and maximize the play area. As we work through the design process, the layout of the playground structures as pictured in the designs below may change slightly. We are determined now more than ever to reach our fundraising goal so that the kids get what they voted for!

Run For Fun - Sunday September 11th, 2011
Join in the Fun and enter to participate in the 1km, 2km or 5km Fun Run/Walk to raise money for the Playground. Registration and start will be located at the Morrisburg Waterfront Pavilion. Registration and race kit pick-up starting at 8:30 am. Entry fee is $20 per participant. Each participant will receive a race bib, a finishing medal, and post race snacks. We will have the registration forms on the website soon.

Mardi Gras At The Manor
Michael Burton and Ron Currie of the Russell Manor raised $3200.00 for the Playground by hosting a Mardi Gras at the Manor fundraiser on Saturday July 30. All who attended enjoyed fabulous food and musical entertainment Southern style.
